A municipality of mountains bathed byrivers, considered a tourist gem due to its beautiful architecture. In it is the House of Culture of Marseille that has been cataloged as an artistic piece, also recognized as architectural and cultural heritage of the place, in it are pre-Columbian pieces and colonial details in its construction. There is also an exhibition of items of the time such as vessels, tableware and other objects that are carefully treated as museographic pieces.

For more than 16 years the Rock al viento Festival has been held in Apia, an event with great national and international recognition, which was born thanks to the great migratory influence and that today allows to see a great musical display of the rock culture of both the department and Colombia.
Also, another of the most representative festivals in the region is the Harvest Festival in Pereira,it highlights different activities in honor of the Coffee Culture Landscape.
In addition, in Marseille, one of the most charming villages in the coffee area, the Friendship Festival is held in Marseille, a festivity that celebrates the end of the harvest.
